0800WHATSUP provides free, professional telephone counselling to anyone in New Zealand aged between 5 and 18 years on 0800 942 87 87. Its focus is on early intervention and prevention, helping pre-teenage children in particular develop good help-seeking and problem-solving skills at an early age. "What's Up" receives an average of 1,450 calls every day from children and young people all over New Zealand but only has resources to answer 450 of these. Please consider how you and your business can support What's Up to keep the lines open for kids in need.

What makes us Made From New Zealand?
0800WHATSUP uses and develops local talent, training telephone counsellors who have a vision for and committment to the well-being of New Zealand children to a high level of professional competence. It uses predominantly local resources (telephone networks) to deliver its service within the entire geographical bounds of New Zealand and is as local as the mobile phone that the child has in his or her pocket. It is funded entirely from New Zealand charitable sources, mostly donations made by individual New Zealanders.
