I am a self-taught part time artist and full time mother of 6 awesome children.”
I was born in Leeds in the UK and immigrated to New Zealand with my parents in 1971. I live on the Kapiti Coast with my husband Richard, we have been married for 22+ years and have 6 children ranging in age from 19 down to 6. They are an amazing source of inspiration to me, teaching me what is real and of value in life.
Painting has been a new thing for me and I am very much in the beginning stages, learning and gleaning as much as I can from others. 2010 is a year of change for our family and I have embarked on the journey of homeschooling 5 of my 6 children with 1 in her second year at Uni doing a design degree. Life is full on but I love to find the time to create and the challenge of stretching myself. I find painting to be both a painful and fulfilling process.
