The partnership that makes up Strangely Normal is Michael Cox and Claire Dutton who began sellling 50's inspired menwear at Cook St Market before opening their own store in Hobson St in 1979.The store was closed in 1996 but the Normals continued to tailor and manufature from their Avondale workroom.Two years ago Strangely Normal reopened,this time in O"Connell St,Auckland CBD
