I'm a founder of PocketSmith, a startup based in New Zealand specialising in innovative personal finance software.

PocketSmith makes complex financial tasks simple through a calendar interface and visualisations, allowing users to see their budgets in a relevant and understandable format.

I'm also a founder of The Distiller, a cluster of technology entrepreneurs based in Dunedin, New Zealand. I was inspired by the relatively hands-on approach taken towards pre-seed funding by US-based Y-Combinator, and sought an opportunity to create a similar, but non-profit environment in my own city with a few other entrepreneurs. This is an effort to prove that startups can achieve great things through collaboration, adherence to structure, and support.
