JETAA

The Japan Exchange and Teaching Alumni Association (JETAA) is a non-profit organisation for past participants of the JET programme. The world governing body is JETAA International (JETAAi).

The Auckland JETAA is a non-profit volunteer organisation, funded by the Council of Local Authorities for International Relations (CLAIR).

Our purpose is to:

1. Assist and support JET participants in their readjustment to life in New Zealand
2. Assist in the promotion and implementation of the JET programme
3. Promote international relations between Japan and New Zealand

JETAA is directly involved with the Consulate-General of Japan and helps with various aspects of the JET programme, aswell as organising community and business events.
