THE DREAM.....
Our dream is to see both younger and older children wearing wool clothing, looking stylish, feeling toasty warm and staying healthier as a result. This dream evolved as a result of one mum's (Bex) unsucessful hunt for a decent wool singlet for her 3 year old son (Jacob). Of course Bex knew that two minds were better than one so she called up her sister (Amy) to see if she would like to join her in the creation of a children's wool clothing range.

100% New Zealand Merino wool was the obvious choice as it is so soft and does not itch. It also adjusts beautifully to the body's temperature, and very importantly for Mums and Dads is machine washable. We worked hard to source and trial what we feel is the best quality New Zealand Merino fabric. Zee Zee Merino fabric is woven tightly in a New Zealand mill to create the ideal Merino fabric. This fabric is then crafted with great care into our gorgeous Zee Zee Merino clothing range. This work takes place in the North Island of New Zealand by an experienced team of people dedicated to making top quality garments.

We are really happy with the childrens' merino clothing range we have created and feedback from our customers has been really positive and encouraging. We hope you and your children enjoy our Zee Zee Merino clothing as much as we have enjoyed developing it. We are looking forward to bringing you more garments next season, including our new merino baby collection.

What makes us Made From New Zealand?

Zee Zee Merino is unique in every way.

Not only are we staunchly New Zealand made, but we also see giving back to our Kiwi communities and others, as our main drive to see our business prosper.

At Zee Zee Merino we donate 10% of our profit to organisations in need each month. Not an easy feat at present, being a new business, but we love searching for organisations that need help, and finding new ways to increase our sales so that we can keep increasing our donations each month.This month we have donated a bunch of our tees to be auctioned off to raise funds for a food bank providing food for underprivileged families this Christmas. We have also donated to Womens Refuge, and to The Hope Foundation and others.

We are committed to producing top of the line Merino clothes that are gorgeous and loved by their wearers. We are currently creating our 2009 line which will introduce some awesome new looks and also our much anticipated Baby range "Little Zee Merino". Our merino is top quality and hardwearing. It is perfect for children as is a safe, healthy and natural fibre that breathes. Merino keeps children warm in cool weather, and cool in warm weather, therefore the ideal clothing option as it can be worn all year round.
