WIT” Women in Technology“Leading, provoking thought & providing opportunities” WIT Group was formed in 2001 by Carol Lee Andersen with the sole purpose of “empowering” women working in the ICT industry, and those considering ICT as a possible career, by facilitating communication with and learning from other professionals.

We help women advance by providing access to - and support from - other professional women working in all sectors of technology. Today, WIT is the premiere organization empowering women and some men in business and technology to achieve unimagined possibilities. With a New Zealand network of smart, talented women and men and a market reach across the country, WIT has powerful programmes and partnerships that provide connections, resources, opportunities and a supportive environment of people committed to helping each other and a passion for excellence in ICT. In addition, we facilitate communications with professional associations and Networks throughout New Zealand and across Australia. WIT delivers value for individuals that work for a company, the companies they work for, government workers, academia, as well as small business owners, and students.

We do this by: Providing opportunities for members and the industry to “communicate and network” with their peers in the industry through presentations with speakers that inspire and motivate, access to well known, highly successful, facilitators who offer exceptional leadership and knowledge learning seminars, personal development training that enhance and up skill your personal growth and for WIT members only “right of entry” in to our mentoring programme “Accelerate” and members only workshops.
