The Cook

Nestled right opposite Steele Park on Cook Street in Hamilton East, The Cook Cafe & Bar is a real feature for cafe go-ers and bar hoppers alike. The building is Hamilton's second oldest building and has been carefully restored. Great coffee, a brilliant breakfast menu, Speights Brewery beers on tap and an extensive wine list, you will love!

Our food is made in our own kitchen and is made to simple and traditional recipies. Fresh gourmet sandwiches and scones are available on the couner top daily, and the options for your sweet tooth are plentiful in the cake tower

The Cook - Cafe & Bar is Hamilton's premier Speights Bar and we have Speights Gold, Speights Distinction, Speights Old Dark, and Speights Pale Ale on tap. Now and again the Southern Men have been known to turn up complete with horses and have a few Speights with their mates

The coffee is locally roasted Weka espresso, and is notable for its smooth rich texture, and is a real hidden treasure of The Cook - Cafe & Bar, a great way to start or finish the day.
