The Catalina Necklace Club

The CATALINA Necklace Club is the new cool kid on the block, with its online store specializing in acrylic necklaces. CATALINA has a ready-made range in bold colours and edgy styles, based on trends and cool shapes, presented with a dynamic twist. Customers are also able to customize unique name necklaces featuring any word they like up to eight letters in length. The website is fresh and full of energy as customers are encouraged to Join The Club and upload images of themselves wearing CATALINA.

CATALINA’s unique take on the acrylic necklace and approach to design may lead you to think she is having a go - because she probably is. CATALINA finds inspiration in popular culture, drawing on block colours, pop art, found object, and anything and everything that looks kinda cool. Each necklace comes in a super cute wooden box so it has a home when you take it off - IF you take it off!

CATALINA started in 2007 as a compliment to the designer’s final collection for a Bachelor in Fashion at Auckland University of Technology. The brand took on a life of its own when interest in CATALINA was stirred up after CSS's lead singer LOVEFOXXX wore a custom made design on the cover of the first addition of 1am Magazine. The demand resulted in the necklaces being feature in a full page story in the second issue.

The goal now is to take over the world one necklace at a time - bringing peace, love and uber-coolness to everyone who wears one.
