Not wanting the same diatribe as is found elsewhere in sports media, we've collected an A-List of contributors .... people like Scott Dixon, Martin Tasker, Anna Scarlett, Dale Budge, Tania Dalton, Steve Price, Bill & Ben, Sara Chatwin, Phil Gifford, Danny Hay, Kirk Penney, Mark Sorenson, Scott Styris and David Campbell ... to name a few of our regular writers.

We keep the look clean and uncluttered and focus on interviews, often exclusive, and profiles rather than gossip and results.

We're retailing Sport Unleashed nationwide, but also work closely with senior schools, sports clubs & associations and have secured distribution to large databases such as banks who utilise the magazine as part of their CRM program for Private Banking clients.

Whilst we cover the more popular sports such as cricket, rugby, league, tennis, netball, motor racing and the like ... we also get to grips with rodeo, polo, WWE, boxing, martial arts, snow sports and much more.

We publish bi-monthly ... Dec/Jan, Feb/March etc and the cover price is $8.90. Subscribers can get the magazine delivered to their door nationwide for only $48 a year. And yes, we've started shipping internationally too - so far to the UK, South Africa and Australia!

What makes us Made From New Zealand?

New Zealand is a sports mad nation ... even those who's only exercise may be changing the channels with the remote or flicking the pages of a magazine. Whether participants or viewers, we love our sport.

My husband and I were putting out SeaSpray magazine and, being sports fanatics, realised there wasn't a great quality sports magazine that wasn't niche ... sure, you could find good golf reading, good fishing mags, a mag for the rifle club, league, netball and more .. but where was a glossy looking title, good enough to leave on your coffee table, with coverage the whole family could enjoy? We couldn't find one!

So we set about creating Sport Unleashed, launching the first issue in December 2007. We're 6 issues and nearly 12 months into things, and are rewarded on a daily basis with new readers' comments about what a great title we've created ... justifiably proud parents blush about here :)

We live and work in Glendowie, Auckland and, apart from the odd one or two, our contributors are all New Zealand based, too. We print locally at PMP and our design team are a Kiwi business as well.

Our ethos is to give Kiwis a sports mag they can be proud of that covers a broad range of sporting codes ... good quality journalism tempered with great images on excellent quality paper.
