Smallfish began in 2007 and went live in 2008. The business is based in Wellington and owned by two software developers and a graphic/web designer. The business provides an affordable solution for entrepreneurial kiwis who want a stand alone webshop alternative to listing their products in shopping portals or auction sites.

Prior to Smallfish this was a typically expensive process involving web designers and developers to customise a design and e-commerce solution. Smallfish provides user-friendly tools and wizards to make the process as simple, fast, flexible and affordable as possible.
