Designer Angela Todd and Financial Director Matt Buckeridge, opened their first store on Ponsonby Road in 2001, with their second boutique opening two years later in the popular Newmarket 277 shopping mecca.

Todd sharpened her scissors and gleaned her distinctive eye as designer for some of New Zealand's leading brands before branching out on her own. Now at Sabine, she continually expands the ranges, her design is essentially feminine and rich in colour, featuring beautiful dresses, suiting and casual garments as well as setting trends with seasonal pieces.

Sabine has progressed into a strong signature look that is sassy and urban - an edgy but easy wearing glam - with pieces that easily transcend from day to night. When Sabine first opened its boutique doors on Ponsonby Road, it's collection snuggled comfortably amongst the racks of leading Australian designers easily holding its own and quickly becoming must haves.

Complimenting Sabine are exclusive labels from Australia, Denim form the States as well as sought after New Zealand designs. Perhaps your magpie eye caught sight of a gleaming piece of jewellery or handbag; so thorough is Todd that the entire store is a themed collection of pieces that culminate to create key looks enhanced with accessories.

Not only are her boutique stores a veritable treasure chest to visit but the label's popularity has spread nationwide - a commanding demand from stockists keep the design team very busy.

Defiantly different yet not outrageous nor so quirky it fades as a passing fad, Sabine's focus on quality, style and femininity prove to be just the formula it needs to continue its growing success.
