Ren's Effects

Ren's Effects is an Auckland based art studio specializing in professional make-up, fashion editorial and stylish design.

Ren's Effects offers free pre-wedding consultations, including make-up, hair styling, jewellery and overall styling suggestions. They use M.A.C and professional products to ensure the best effects in photo shoots.

Professional makeup artist and director Kelly Ren has worked in all areas of the fashion and entertainment industry across New Zealand, China and Hong Kong for over 10 years. She is an accomplished creative makeup artist, with experience in all aspects of wedding makeup, media makeup, stage show art direction, TV show art direction, cover girl magazine shoot makeup, beauty pageant art direction, fashion week art direction etc.

Kelly moved to New Zealand in 2006 and graduated with distinction from the most prominent fashion-training academy, Cut Above, where she majored in special effects and makeup. At the New Zealand Body Art Awards 2008, she won the Best Emerging Artist award and received special commendation in the Hand Painted category and in 2009 she was the winner of the Fantasy Special Effects category and the overall winner of New Zealand Body Art Awards.
