Birgit Hoffmann landed on New Zealand soil from Berlin bringing a broad range of Photo Journalism experience with a portfolio that includes magazine titles such as TIP, Art Magazine, IG Chemie, Boom and the German Newspapers. The Subjects range from creative expression, through portraits of the stars, theatre and cinema photography to tourism and reporting on the cutting edge cultural issues facing the Berliners.

Down-shifting to Coromandel Peninsula, New Zealand, inspired by the natural beauty 'Planet Positive' was born, publishing a range of postcards that capture a Coromandel way of life that goes beyond a dramatic landscape.

Birgit draws on all her experience and her love of people, her understanding and insight of people is evident in her beautiful wedding photography, fresh and contemporary in style whilst capturing the natural character of her subjects.

These days Planet Positive works out of New Zealand, North America and Europe, Birgit is passionate about her work and continues to explore throughout the global community. Seamlessly moving across continents and within cultures, sharing her talent with those looking to fulfill the next step on their life journey.
