PC Town Computers

"PC Town" had been a computer retail shop located at Mt Albert, Auckland. It was established in the late 1990s and was took over by Pctown Computers Ltd in 2006. "Pctown" became a registered trade mark of Pctown Computers Ltd in 2007.

In 2006, there were only around 600 products available for sale in the shop which mainly targeted to local customers. There was no website for the shop at that time.

With the wide use of internet in the world, people living far away are getting closer, online shopping is becoming more and more popular because of its large range of selection, low price, and time efficiency features. Pctown has developed its own website with over 4000 products available online for sale now. Most products are supplied by the leading distributors in New Zealand and Australia.

From the beginning of this year 2009, Pctown has become a pure online store, sales prices are more competitive by taking advantage of cutting off the fixed cost.
