Openair Cinema

Openair Cinema Limited is a New Zealand based company founded in 2003. It operated the first big screen open air cinema in New Zealand at Auckland Viaduct, January 2004.

Openair Cinema operates the largest outdoor cinema screen (16x8m) along all the professional grade equipment to bring the best outdoor movie experience to every viewer. The openair cinema brings fantastic community events that can house over 3000 viewers per screening. Events are professional and secure as well as staying affordable for the client. Best of all, the entire setup is extremely portable thanks to the MPU (mobile projection unit) and the sturdy inflatable screen that can be set up on almost any surface (including sand, snow and even pontoons on water!)

You can also hire our set-up for your own events, private and corporate functions or public events.
