After teaching solidly for the last 6 years Moonjelly has decided to take a holiday from weekly classes in 2009. She remains available for workshops and private tuition.

As a past-president and current member of MEDANZ (Middle Eastern Dance Association of New Zealand) Moonjelly supports world class tutors to encourage and foster Middle Eastern dance in New Zealand. In the past year 'Moonjelly Bellydance' has sponsored Carolena Nerricio and Megha Gavin (Fat Chance Bellydance), Hadia from Vancouver and Alia from Melbourne.
