A French themed village Cafe located in beautiful Kinloch, which is only 15 minutes from Taupo. We offer a relaxed rural setting where you can kick back and enjoy a cracking cup of coffee, fantastic baked goodies, or a tremendous brunch freshly prepared in our kitchen. Our grounds are huge, so the kids can go bananas whilst Mum and Dad chill with a beer, wine, coffee .... You will never go hungry, as our portions are legendary and on those cold days you can snuggle up inside near our cosy fireplace. We have a wonderful setting that is perfect for a country wedding or special occasion and we can cater for any event. We also own and run a boutique Bed and Breakfast Accommodation here in Kinloch and provide indulgent weekend packages encompassing Reflexology and Indian Head Massage.

What makes us Made From New Zealand?

We're a small cafe in a small village, but we aim to punch waaaaay above our weight. We may be French themed, but, like the French, we believe in vehemently supporting our own. We source the majority of our raw materials from local suppliers. Our eggs come from Kinloch hens. Our lettuce is grown in Kinloch. All of our meat comes from a local butcher. All food is made on site and Chinese garlic is treated with disdain! We cater to a lot of tourists to whom we aspire to provide classic Kiwi hospitality, wonderful service and a damn fine meal.
