Introduction :

Hil Cook was born and raised in New Zealand, trained in London, and is now back home after working all over the world as a hair and makeup artist.
Kylie Minogue and Cate Blanchett are among the many international stars Hil has worked on.
Hil was also a part of two award winning makeup teams - their work on Lord of the Rings won Weta Workshop both an Oscar™ and a Bafta for "The Return of the King" in 2003.
Most recently Hil has been working on various work in TV (including TV1's 'Dancing with the Stars' and BBC/Gibson Group series 'Paradise Cafe'), various Films, travelling throughout NZ for Weddings, working with NZ’s top Fashion Designers and has been busy training an elite team of make up and hair artists.

Hil Cook Hair & Make Up has grown out of Hil's vision to create a team of talented Make Up and Hair Artists who can work in many aspects of this industry.
Her Team currently works in Fashion, Editorial, Commercial, Film, Television, Weddings, and Make Up Lessons.
