Helens Handmade Chocolates

Helen's Handmade was established in 1990 as Helens Confectionery by Helen & Jim Roberts as a very small manufacturer of handmade chocolates at a site on Moorhouse Avenue Christchurch.

Since 1995 Helen's Handmade has been owned and operated by Robyn & Graham Young.
We take great pride in the products we supply to our customers and being a small owner/operator business we very much welcome your ideas and suggestions.

Our 'hands on' manufacturing processes enable us to incorporate your personal slant on the products produced, from the initial ingredients used through to the colour of the bow.

Our products are made from the finest materials sourced from local / and international suppliers.

All chocolate is supplied by Belgian chocolate manufacturer as are the chocolate pastes used as the base for fillings. Check out this famous Belgian company by clicking on their logo. You will find it fascinating.

Ingredients produced within New Zealand are used wherever possible including apricots from Central Otago, raspberries and strawberries from Canterbury and citrus & kiwifruit from the Bay of Plenty.

Helen's Handmade supports the Cancer Society of New Zealand by working with The National Bank of New Zealand in providing Daffodil Day chocolates for sale throughout New Zealand.

Helens Handmade offers a wide range of products for all situations whether it be a wedding, birthday, anniversary, company event, warm fuzzy for the staff, advertising gimmick, valentine heart, easter bunny, christmas santa, fathers day, mother day, or any other day of the year, or even if you just feel like a chocolate fix.
We can even supply you with that small quantity of chocolate for the chocolate fondue you're having next Saturday night.
There is nothing better than a chocolate strawberry dipped in rich, smooth, dark Belgian chocolate.

Something else we manufacture are personalised chocolates for events such as weddings, conferences, seminars and so forth.
They can either be in the form of your own chocolate shape with a message or logo which is then foil wrapped or we produce a full colour wrapper to go around one of our foil wrapped chocolates.
This can have your own artwork on it or you can choose from one of our generic designs and have your wording or place setting names included.
