Essential Cuisine Ltd was established in June 2000, its objective being to cater to the growing demand for healthy, traditional food flavouring for the modern-day food lover. Essential Cuisine now supplies its range of natural Stock, Jus and Pesto to health food shops, supermarkets and the hospitality trade throughout New Zealand and Hong Kong.

* Stock
We produce seven varieties of stock - Beef, Chicken, Fish, Lamb, Veal, Venison and Vegetable.
* Classic Beef Jus
This is an exciting new introduction to our range, with a taste that would impress any connoisseur - simply heat and serve.
* Pesto
We make three different types of Pesto - Basil, Sundried Tomato and Asian Green (a coriander base with a hint of chilli), which are great flavours to use all year round.
Quality
Gribbles Biological have been monitoring our range of products for shelf life. By using a simple hot-fill/fast-chill packing system with quality barrier bags, our red meat stocks can achieve a 120-day shelf life (kept refrigerated), with Commercial Stock, Essential Cuisine60 days for chicken stock and 45 days for fish stock.
Approved Supplier
Essential Cuisine has held an "approved supplier" status through AgriQuality for the past four years and now has a "Food Safety Program" underway. The AqriQuality certification enables us to market our products through all New Zealand supermarkets.
Availability
You will find Essential Cuisine stocks in most leading New Zealand supermarkets: Progressive supermarkets (Foodtown, Woolworths and Countdown) sell Chicken and Beef stocks through the Butchery departments; many Foodstuffs supermarkets (New World and Pak'n Save) sell through the Butchery, Dairy or Deli departments.
