Deryn Schmidt of Wellington, New Zealand produces collections of design driven contemporary women's fashion that whilst being elegant, remain fun and functional. The production focus is 100% New Zealand made and of the highest quality, while utilising striking textiles from around the world. An established preference in selecting natural fibres to design with, assist in creating a finished garment that not only looks great, but feels amazing too.

The Deryn Schmidt label was formed in October 2009, after more than ten years industry experience, learning from highly regarded designers both here in New Zealand and in the UK to compliment a Fashion degree from Wanganui Polytechnic. The first range for Spring-Summer 2010 is available in selected New Zealand boutiques from August 2010 and is aptly titled 'Growth'.
