Crate Creations

Crate Creations was created in November 2002 I always had a deep desire to work for myself, so I had an idea about putting together gift baskets for Christmas 02. I started telling my friends & family what I was up to and started receiving orders for Crate Creations first Christmas.

Valentines Day was next so I thought why not hit the streets with Crate Creations gift baskets for Valentines Day 03. So off I went with a gift basket sample a pricelist and went around to business taking orders. I was so over welled with the orders that I received people thought it was a great idea. There was a real market here people didn’t have time to shop. And I found my first corporate client who is still one of our clients today.

I've been brought up with cooking and catering for weddings and 21st's. It was a family thing!!! I remember going and help my Mum & my Aunties out in the kitchen from a very early age. I have three children Renee now 16, Bradley 14 & Letitia 12 so why they were growing up I worked in an ice cream shop and bakery’s so I using the skills that I had gained and with a passion for cooking and creating new and exciting things, I started making my own range of handcrafted chocolates and truffles to add in to the gift baskets
