We are a new, credible, experienced voice for New Zealand audiences, focusing initially on providing content to paying clients – presumed to be news sources, not defined by technological platform. We are a white label service in that we don’t seek a profile for ourselves, but to enhance the content and visitability of the websites, newspapers, mags and other media outlets that we service.
The business model allows us to earn from two primary sources:
- Sales of the Businesswire service – a daily business news service headed by ex-Bloomberg Asian editor (Wellington-based) Jonathan Underhill
- Revenue-sharing with Content Ltd clients – we back ourselves to say that web traffic, especially, will increase once an outlet is using our content. In some instances, Content will seek to bring editorial coherence to clients’ offerings by populating them with Businesswire content and imposing editorial discipline.
