Kathy Nicol, the first New Zealand clinic owner, was formerly an obese wife and mother of 3 children who did the program online in 2008.
Having lost 40kgs in 21 weeks Kathy opened the first specialist Cohen's Clinic in New Zealand so that other Kiwi women suffering the same debilitating conditions could finally find relief from their health conditions and a long term solution to the overwhelming problem of how to lose weight quickly and keep it off for life.
Until February 2009 when the first clinic in New Zealand opened there was no other solution for most of these health concerns other than drastic and expensive measures such as Gastric bypass surgery or a concoction of diabolical side effect laden drugs.
