and very good clothing it is!

Made right here at home in Christchurch, New Zealand to be precise - ALL of it! But there’s a lot more to it than that. Our clothing is a unique product of our eclectic lifestyles, values and beliefs.

chalkydigits defies conventional clothing categories and that sometimes makes it hard for us to explain who we are. Some would say we’re a fashion label while others would say we’re a ‘lifestyle’ brand. Some would even call us a “design” brand... In reality we’re a healthy mash up of all of those. Wear it to work, wear it to the cafe or mooch around the house in it in the weekend. Wear it out at night, wear it in the hills riding and climbing or doing whatever it is that blows your hair back! Wear it to keep warm, wear it to stay cool... then wash and repeat again and again!

Most of all, our clothes reflect who we are and what we stand for. Like supporting New Zealand made.

We design and make clothing that is original, funktional, good looking, creative, long lasting - just like all of us! While we’d love for everybody to be kitted out in our gear, we choose to keep our individuality and uniqueness alive within each range. So you won’t find our clothing everywhere; we do limited runs and we keep it fresh with new ranges twice a year (and a few surprise releases every now and then).

Yes, our clothing defies being put in a particular box, much like the staff who work here, and most likely you too.
