When the door to Boulot opens, you are not only greeted by the friendly staff, but by the enticing aroma of the Manuka fired oven and the comforting smells of the kitchen's delights simmering away in the background.

The dedicated chefs are constantly researching traditional methods and techniques to create a menu that is authentic, honest and exciting. In addition, they source the best and freshest produce from their suppliers with whom they work closely with.

The ethnic roots at Boulot lean towards Italian with a generous culinary splash of French. It's possible to party all night drinking fabulous cocktails while enjoying the flavours of authentic European cuisine. There are also a number of boutique beer, wines and sprits to accompany the impressive cocktail list, and enjoy live jazz every Wednesday night, with top jazz bands from around the city.

The full menu is available from five o'clock until late and the wood-fried pizza oven burns throughout the early hours of the morning. With the delicious classic pizza being served as late as the beautifully made drinks, Wellington's best late night dinning experience is at boulot.
