Belisha Dance Club
Belisha was established to encourage people to dance! The aim is to educate, encourage & further develop dancers, mostly in the Bay of Plenty, but also from all NZ & some overseas. We dance mostle Middle Eastern raqs sha'abi - also known as belly dance; but also we dance Medieval - mostly the peasant bransle, but developing the courtly dances too. And more! Belisha also have a performance troupe - book us for events to entertain your guests.

What makes us Made From New Zealand?
Belisha are New Zealanders - some born & bred, some more recently imported - but all NZ now. We dance a style which adapts to its community & sometimes raqs to to NZ music too! We learn, teach, encourage & support the development of dance in NZ.
