"ARTIS Gallery has been operating as a dealer gallery in Auckland, New Zealand for over 20 years.

The gallery first opened its doors at 10 High St, Auckland City in 1984, staying in these relatively small premises for two years before moving to larger premises at 18 High St.

Then, during 1987, the gallery was moved to Herne Bay where the business remained for two years until the current owner, Jonathan Gooderham, acquired the business. The gallery was then taken to Parnell, Auckland where it is currently located.

A contemporary gallery with a strong exhibition focus, ARTIS Gallery represents a diverse range of leading New Zealand painters, sculptors and photographers. Downstairs we have a large sculpture gallery where there is always a selection of recent work by our gallery artists.

We also specialise in commissions to site and are happy to assist with future projects. "
