Trunk Media was created because our three New Zealand owners worked in the web industry in the UK. In the UK the industry is regulated - you need to build websites and online applications to web standards for accessibility. By building to accessibility standards you ultimately create well structured websites. In New Zealand the industry is non-regulated. We are sick of unqualified cowboy companies spitting out crap websites and ripping off New Zealand businesses. So on returning to New Zealand we decided to do something about it and start our own agency.
