Organisations can use OnlineGroups.Net sites to facilitate collaboration in teams and online communities. Online groups can be public, private or secret. Free sites can have unlimited public groups. Sites with private groups require a subscription.

The OnlineGroups.Net software service is powered by the open source collaboration server GroupServer (http://groupserver.org/).
