getstaffed.com is the Recruitment 2.0 contractor marketplace.

We put IT contractors and hiring businesses together directly, without the need for a recruitment agency playing middleman. We founded getstaffed after a "there's got to be a better way" discussion about contractor recruitment.

Our Community
Contractors love us - they are joining in droves. It's free for them to join and we give them on-line CV, testimonial and availability tools to help them 'go direct'. They earn loyalty points which can be converted into Air NZ Airdollars or gifted to the Mary Potter Hospice. Some of our contractor community have already earned enough points for US/Europe return tickets!

Businesses love us - they are using us more and more. Our expanding hiring business community includes ANZ National Bank, Gen-i, Westpac, NZ Post, Axon and a raft of other innovative companies. We offer them free Google-like search on an expanding community of skilled contractors, free job vacancy ads and an unbeatable $NZ3/hr service fee when a contractor is retained. And there's no contracts, no exclusivity, no worries.

Our Difference
Unlike the establishment (recruitment agencies who have flash offices, smart 'consultants' and huge fees) our brand is zesty, irreverent and more than a little counter cultural. Everything we do is smart, on-line and is designed to drive the cost out of our service provision, while maximizing the opportunity for our community to transact quickly and directly.

It's True
Recruitment agencies are not so happy with us. Apparently we are 'bad news' for the industry. All we can say is … excellent!!
