Christian Druery Guitars

My name is Christian Druery and I am a Luthier from New Zealand.

I primarily build steel string acoustic guitars using the timbers indigenous to my country such as Kauri,40,000 year old Ancient Kauri, and Rimu. After many years experimenting I have perfected their use for instrument making. Tonally my guitars are very rich, full and beautifully balanced with incredible sustain. I use Paua to inlay my instruments in the form of traditional Maori Kowhaiwhai designs.

I believe that I offer something unique to this industry, with the innovative use of these amazing timbers, beautiful Paua shell inlays along with my expertise in design and 12 years building instruments.
