Research and development commenced in late 1998. GuideTools.com Limited is 100% wholly New Zealand owned and operated and so you are dealing directly with the founders, directors and developers. All technology was and is developed in New Zealand under the Aegility brand. While we are currently Australasia focussed, we have been delivering eLearning to a wider international market since 2002
When we started as on-line trainers we were focused on the development of a highly intuitive learner’s environment for a specific training programme we had in mind. In looking for an elearning system all we found was IT solution rather than communication focusssed offerings. So, in typical Kiwi fashion we self funded and built our own.
From the outset the Aegility team were determined to remove all technology barriers to web-based learning. We achieved that and more. Today, with our chief designer Lee Solon and Technical whiz Tao Lin we provide highly efficient, cost effective, location neutral, web based technology that measures and assesses individual or group learning outcomes against stated learning objectives. It puts the users in control.
Direct clients include New Zeland Lotteries, Siemens NZ, NZ Transport Agency, The Open Polytechnic of New Zealand, Write Group, iContact, The Institute of Rural Health and Auckland University (IMAC).
