Steve Guinness - Entrepreneur... After completing a Management Masters at Canterbury Uni, winning two prizes in a business plan competition, and spending 2-3 years as an entrepreneur developing a few of his own business ventures, Steve Guinness now has two profitable companies and more than a few projects with huge market potential.
Prestigious Memorabilia... One of his business ventures Prestigious Memorabilia is the leading supplier of Graduation Rings to Universities in New Zealand. This was launched late in 2006 with business partners Ben Jepsen and Jed Tweedie. It is currently going through a high growth phase expanding into high schools, sports teams and the corporate scene. Prestigious Memorabilia is also looking for investment.
Wowza.co.nz... Steve and business partner Ben also launched http://wowza.co.nz/ in 2007 as a trial in Christchurch. Wowza show consumers where all the hot deals are in their local shops. It is currently being redeveloped and the team is looking for investment and potential partnerships.
Rocket Boys... http://rocketboys.co.nz/ was created as a spin-off web development company from Wowza with business partners Ben and web guru Pete Nicholls. They specialise in viral web-marketing and building easy to manage websites for small to medium businesses. They are also Ruby on Rails experts.
